In the middle of the beautiful natural environment and yet with all the amenities of a 4-star hotel: the cuisine and the restaurant on the Hochkönig got a great compliment in 2011, The restaurant was officially named „Genuss Wirt“ (Indulgence Host). An accolade that is only given once a year and to only one restaurant per county.
From the breakfast buffet to dinner, the restaurant at your Bergheimat Holiday Hotel focuses on regional products, combined to highest indulgences. In 2012 the Bergheimat Hotel was awarded with the AMA gastronomy certificate. Once a week chef de cuisine Hans Auer, who has worked for us since 1982, prepares a themed buffet: typical Salzburg delicacies, Italian, Asian delights, hearty farmer´s buffet,… The younger guests will also find their favourite meal on the children´s menu. How about tasting the delicious original Salzburger Nockerln, a great and fluffy Salzburg dessert, whcih is baked with fruity, tart cranberries.
Enjoy indulgence on the panorama terrace
On 1,200m and in the middle oft he natural environment you will be able to enjoy extraordinary views that you don´t normally experience during your meal. The panorama terrace provides views all over SalzburgerLand and also over Hochkönig Massif. In front of this scenery the food tastes twice as good – breakfast, lunch, coffee with cake, sundae in the afternoon or the outstanding sunset dinner.

Let the cuisine team at the restaurant on the Hochkönig prepare a picnic basket for you and take it with you on a hike. Walk along and take a break at a spot of your liking.
